Hi, I'm Susie!
Welcome! I'm so glad you're here.
I'm a creative at heart, a baseball mom, a cruise lover, a planner, and an entrepreneur—and somehow, I've managed to turn all of those things into a business I absolutely love.
My love for design and fashion started long before my businesses did. In 2005, I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Fashion Design and Fashion Marketing. I've always loved clothing, creating things, and bringing an idea in my head to life.
Then came motherhood.
When my son was almost two, I was planning his birthday party and wanted a special decorative Mickey shirt for him to wear. I ordered one from Etsy and, like many creative people, immediately thought, "I could make that!"
So I did.
That one little Mickey shirt turned into another shirt, and then another idea, and before I knew it, Magnolia Ann was born.
A Name With Meaning
Magnolia Ann isn't just a name I came up with. It's a tribute to my grandmother, Ann.
She was from Mississippi, where the magnolia is the state flower, and she was incredibly creative herself. She was a wonderful painter and always had an artistic side. Naming my business Magnolia Ann was my way of carrying a little piece of her creativity with me.
Over the years, Magnolia Ann grew and evolved. I eventually created Enchanted Mouse Bowtique, giving my Disney-inspired apparel its own home. I loved having separate shops that each had their own style and personality, especially while I was selling primarily through Etsy.
And Disney? Well, the possibilities are pretty much endless.
I love creating Disney designs because Disney has a way of bringing you right back to being a kid. With so many movies, characters, stories, attractions, and memories to draw inspiration from, there is always another idea waiting to be created.
I also believe that everyone deserves to feel great in what they wear. That's why I offer many of my designs in plus sizes. Your size shouldn't determine whether you get to wear something fun, cute, or completely "you."
Then Baseball Happened...
If you know my family, you know baseball is a BIG part of our lives.
My son is a huge baseball fan and player, and in June 2025, another business adventure began—Baseball Boyz Batz.
It actually started with my son and his friends decorating plastic bats. After watching them make a few, I thought, "I can do this too... and probably better!" 😂
And, well... one thing led to another.
What started with decorative plastic bats quickly grew into so much more. Today, Baseball Boyz Batz includes all kinds of sports-related products, with a definite emphasis on baseball.
My son doesn't make the products himself, but he is still very much part of the creative process. He's constantly coming to me with ideas and telling me what I should make next.
And yes, he still likes to remind me:
"This would have never been a thing if it wasn't for me."
He's not wrong. 😂
A Little More About Me
When I'm not designing, creating, packing orders, or thinking about my next idea, you'll probably find me spending time with my family.
I'm married to my husband, Bo, and in 2027 we'll celebrate 20 years of marriage. We have two dachshunds—Mr. Bean, our sweet 17-year-old senior, and Vienna, our four-year-old little psychopath who keeps us on our toes. 😂
We're also a huge cruise family. We usually cruise once or twice a year, and my son is basically a walking cruise-ship encyclopedia. Ask him a question about cruise ships and there's a very good chance he'll know the answer!
Our love for Disney and cruising eventually led to another adventure for me as a part-time Disney and cruise travel agent.
And because apparently we don't have enough going on, we also make an annual trip to Disney's Fort Wilderness, usually around Halloween, where we go glamping in an RV. It's one of our favorite traditions.
Why I Do What I Do
At the end of the day, I love being creative.
I love when someone comes to me with an idea that exists only in their head and says, "Can you make this?"
My answer is almost always going to be:
"I'll try!"
I'm busy. I'm creative. I'm dependable. And I genuinely love helping people bring their design ideas to life.
When you purchase from me, I want you to know that you're not buying from a huge corporation or a warehouse full of strangers.
You're buying from a small business. You're supporting a family. And you're buying from someone who genuinely cares about what she creates.
Every order, every design, and every crazy new idea is part of our family's little story.
So if you can dream it, I'll do my best to make it happen.
Thanks for being here, supporting small business, and letting me be a small part of your story, too.
— Susie ❤️
